DVDs of the film and prints of the Fool Soldiers rescue will be available for sale at the theater. All sales will directly support the Scholarship Fund.

"Return to Shetek: The Courage of the Fool Soldiers" brings three extraordinary stories together: A new version of the conflict at Shetek in 1862, how the Fool Soldiers rescued the captives, and the joyful meeting of descendants of both the Fool Soldiers' and the white settlers' after nearly 150 years.

This feature length documentary recounts an astonishing resolution in a tragic time that still remains secret to many South Dakotans and Minnesotans. Told by descendants and historians the film is divided into five parts for use in schools, churches and youth and adult groups.
